Walk Through Page-1 Empty
PostSubject: Walk Through Page-1   Walk Through Page-1 Icon_minitimeSat May 17, 2008 2:25 am

Honestly, this is worth the 30-60 minute read. Tokens are what allow a player to do things on the game (i.e. crimes, flying from city to city, attacking players etc). Each player gets 40 tokens an hour and can hold up to 750 altogether, unless they have purchased a subscription. When you first log on to Crime-Nations your rank will be a Newb. In order to change that rank you need to do petty crimes. All crimes cost tokens. Tokens are given every hour. The amount of tokens you receive are based on what type of an account you have. If you are a bronze you receive 40 a hour. You can purchase a Subscription in the Crime-Nations shop. There are several different ones. You can visit the shop for detailed descriptions. You can also purchase Gold Coins in the shop, commonly referred to by players as gcs. They are equal to 10 tokens each. gcs give a user an edge where you have more resources to stat up quickly or go on a killing spree. Crime Nations is best played on Mozilla Firefox browser.

The Crime Nations Store: This is where you can buy, transfer and use gold coins, which are then used to purchase extra tokens and subscriptions. Gold coins are generally Crime Nations Store credits, which are simply there to make it easier to purchase and transfer coins which are then used for the aforementioned reasons. Basically, 10 gold coins is equal to 1 CAD dollar, and tokens and subscriptions are bought and sold with these coins. You can purchase these coins with your credit card, paypal, by mail or over the phone; visit the Crime Nations Store for more details.

Referral System: Users who bring new players to Crime Nations will receive 50 gold coins for every new member that signs up and remains active.

Bonus tokens: 100 Tokens: 10 gold coins 500 Tokens: 50 gold coins 1000 Tokens: 100 gold coins 5000 Tokens: 500 gold coins

Subscriptions: There are four types of Subscriptions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond.

Bronze subscriptions are the default for all players; you receive 40 tokens per hour and have a max of 750. (Free) Silver subscriptions provide 60 tokens per hour, and allow you to have a maximum of 1500. (100 coins) Gold subscriptions provide 80 tokens per hour, and allow you to have 2500 token maximum. (300 coins) Diamond subscriptions provide 100 tokens per hour and have a 3500 token maximum. (500 coins) For more information, click the subscription page.
Buying tokens and/or subscriptions is not necessary but can give you an advantage over others.

Rounds: Crime Nations is played out in rounds and each round lasts generally around 6 weeks or so, which is 42 days. When a round reset occurs, all players characters, Organizations and generally the whole game is wiped, new features are usually added and then the round is started back up again as an even playing field. All players sign back into the game with no stats and thus must work them back up again.

Death: When your character is killed you will be confronted with the same screen as when you first started playing. It asks you to enter a new name and once that is done, will ask you for a city in which you would like to begin playing. When you die, you lose all yours stats (they return to the default 5%) and you will no longer be in your Organization, if you were in one. Also, your name will appear in the Church where other players may post eulogies. Most of the time the killer will return to your funeral and post a message, so looking here is the best place to investigate who it was.

Heat: The heat bar is used to tell you how much police suspicion you currently have. The bar is raised by increases in your bank account, and doing crimes, and if it reaches full then you will be pinched and sent to prison. In order to avoid being pinched, you should try and invest or hide as much money from your bank as possible, which will lower the heat you have, or you can wipe it fully by bribing Chief Hardtop at the police station in Law Enforcement under the Locations heading.
