The Crime Nations forums use BB coding, which allows players to alter there text in some way, e.g. colouring it. Here are the codes to use:

Bold = [ b ] Text [ /b ]
Italic = [ i ] Text [ /i ]
Underline = [ u ] Text [ /u ]
Center = [ center ] Text [ /center ]
color your text = [ color=weed ] Text [ /color ]
Just remove the spaces and replace text with what you want to write.

Live Chat: Users may come here and chat live in the CN chat room. Users must create a user name when entering here, imposing as an admin is against forum rules and can lead to a ban.

Personal News: Users can come here to check for updates on ranking up, shots, bank transfers and other usually important information. If the news icon goes gold, you got news.

Personal Offers: users can accept or decline offers sent from other players here. Offers usually consist of OC or bank robbery invites, or invites into an organization.

Quick Stats: Here you can see the current city you are in, also you can see you and your bgs health. Your tokens money on hand and in bank also show here. At the bottom of this you can click account overview which will show you an overview of your stats and basic account info.

Added Light Summary:
There are 2 things you want to concern yourself with when you begin your character. Rank and Ga. You start out as a Newb. The easier way to rank up is to do petty crimes. After you click on petty crimes do the easy ones to get your petty theft stat up first. You can see how much your stat is going up by clicking on account overview on the right hand side of the screen. Then you want to scroll down to the robbery crimes under petty crimes. You have to work on those crimes until your armed robbery stat goes up. You will earn your rank through these stats. You will be able to do Organized Crimes eventually. These are crimes that you get invited to join by other players. Once your rank is earner you can organize them yourself. In order to fly to different cities you need to go to human resources and buy a passport. In order to steal cars that you can sell for money, you need a drivers license and the rank of earner. You may purchase your license at the human resource center as well. Killing Skill is attained by going to the Firing Range located under places on the left side of your screen. Extortion is used to make money off properties. You extort properties by going to the Real Estate section under Industry and go to a section of a city. There you will see several properties. If you press enter there are 3 options. extort, buy, or firebomb. If you extort the property it doesn’t belong to you and someone can extort it away from you. You will receive hourly income while it is yours. If you buy the property then it stays yours until you sell it. Once you own it you can upgrade it, and put businesses on it. The businesses are chop shops where players bring their stolen cars to sell. You set up a percent and that becomes your profit. Your profit remains in the safe or back room of the building. The prices change hourly you do not set them. You can also set up a fence. Works the same as a chop shop but this is where players bring their stolen goods from organized crimes to sell. Profits from Bank Robberies are sold at Money Launderers, which you can also create. You can also set up gambling slots or roulette. Organized crimes: Earners and above can set up organize crimes. Trucks come in once an hour right around the hour. The person who gets the organized crimes ocs as they are called, uses 60 tokens to set them up he then incites 3 other players to join 2 hijackers and a driver. Driving skill is obtained by either going to college to the driving course or through experience, or both. It costs 20 tokens to participate in ocs. If they are successful there will be swag. The person who sets up ocs has the option to split or keep the swag. If they are not successful you can go to jail or get nothing as your team will not be able to locate the truck. you need to purchase a driving license from human resources before you can organize a oc. You also need a driving license to steal cars. You can fly to different cities for ocs also. To fly you need a passport also available in human resources. Human resources has several other items to purchase. You can go there to see them. They are all self explanatory. Bank robberies are done the same way. difference is you need someone with safecracking stats. Safecracking can be obtained by going to college. Organizations: You can choose to start your own family, join one that’s already established or go solo. If you are in a family you can enter and read their social club by going into social club under club house on the bottom left side of your screen. Attacking other players: you can mug 5 tokens per attempt (armed robbery needed) and shoot (killing skill needed) other players. You can shoot by pressing on the players name and choosing the whack option. You have to purchase a weapon to do this. you can go to the cn armoury to purchase a weapon. You can protect yourself by 1- buying a safehouse under info and stats, and then purchasing a Kevlar, armour or a hitman. they take your shots for you up to a certain amount of shots usually depending on the attackers kill skill and weapon. You can purchase those in the cn armoury also. You can also refill your kevlar/armor or hitman as needed. You can tell if you need to by looking over your health bar right side of your screen. If you get shot without any protection your health bar will go down. You need to heal at the CN Armoury. If you have purchased a Health Card in human resources then you can heal cheaper at the Hospital. Crime Nations is a very social game. Most players communicate through msn messenger. The public forums are also very informative. They are located on the bottom left hand of your screen, under Communication.
